Inspiration:Building process:Finished Product:Reflection:This is my last official piece of my ceramics class. I had already worked previously in the year with glass but this was my chance to really explore. I tried to different glazes to see if color effected glass coloring. I also tested thicknesses of glass. There were two in which was the plate and the coaster to far right of it in which were much more fine glass shavings. I had made sure even after I took process pictures that they were really fine. The other two coasters however where more thicker pieces with curves. The one on the far left was formed into a shape and then fired however the form didn't fully come out it still had a cool texture. the other one in the middle had been thrown randomly on. I experimented a lot with also the amount. Having some almost completely covered and others not. I only however played with one color of glass in which was white but later turned blue. I think I will definitely play more with glass in the future even though I don't have any ceramic classes planned in my future for high school. These pieces where quick and easy but I learned a lot from them especially after getting back on the wheel after not touching it in almost a whole year except for when doing the melting tea cup.
