balleria legs:This was my final piece. It wasn’t the greatest piece especially if looking at the top. I learned though a lot from this piece. For one thing having more plans on the art piece that were sketched would have helped me invision it more. The tape also did not for correctly making the legs looked deformed. I also stocked it full of newspaper to make it more to form but some area just fell in. The bottom part of the design was well made I think but the pink fabric got sloppy. If I were to do this again I would have made it all one color and make sure the cuts were a lot nicer. I would change other things about it but if I were to say the most critized part I can first of see would be the pink fabric.

I like these art pieces because they mostly have simple form but play with the surface with earthed colors or texture. Some peieces also have added forms from the ones already made making it more interesting.Building Process:Final Piece:This piece took a long time. I learned so much like how to work big in 3-D, how to attach many flowers with only a small hole. I wish I could have been cleaner around the edge of the pink going underneath. The piece was also supposed to have legs but the legs did not go well. They made the outfit look not as strong. Both of them separately looked good. I know now that I can work big but I need to really think through the weight and form being built before doing it. I think this piece is very creative and amazing by itself. I had experimented with so many things. I messed with paper clay for the first time, ribbon and fabric in an even larger scale. I also experimented with pulling up glaze to make the flowers sort of have a ombré effect. I also did it to make sure I was playing with the surface of the clay so I wasn’t just doing something simple. The piece taught me that when working so big I should make sure to right out a schedule and stick to it.
Tea cup ride(inspired by ride at Disneyland)i wanted this art piece to represent me. I did this by adding flowers which is something I love in general. The flowers also had meaning behind it. The sunflower is to represent loyalty. The con flower shows strength and the red rose represents hope & joy. I made the flowers be in a sort of repetitive form going down the foot. I add each flower with the amount I believe I have of that meaning. The red roses only had two one for each word. I also had the green foot because the foot is suppose to represent balance in life. I think I have a lot. Even though the foot cracked I love it even more because it represents how I didn’t have balance at one point but I was able to be put back together. I feel like even though it is a simple piece it has a lot of meaning behind for my life and how I live it.
Tape installation- spider webI learned that lines don’t just have to be two dimensional. From this piece I have thought a big piece coming of the wall. wire figureI learned that wire is hard than expected to use. I don’t think I will be using to make a specific wrapped form but something simplistic would work. wire portrait I learned that with wire that is making a human form doesn’t always need to have multiple wires. This one was just one long one that was used to complete a whole form. I don’t know if I will ever use it again but maybe if I decided to do something with layers of faces. copper sauter “ring”i don’t think I will have any ideas to use it again but I thought I was very interesting how you could join wire together. I learned that you can create any form and join it together as long as its copper wire. I think it could have been more clean but I definitely learned how to use the medium. 3-d printer pen sunfloweri had never used the pen before so I had definitely learned how to use it but I struggled on building up. This piece I tried to do it in layers learning I could build it up that way. I was able to use this piece as inspiration for my lineal challenge. I used it in a different way however.
