balleria legs:This was my final piece. It wasn’t the greatest piece especially if looking at the top. I learned though a lot from this piece. For one thing having more plans on the art piece that were sketched would have helped me invision it more. The tape also did not for correctly making the legs looked deformed. I also stocked it full of newspaper to make it more to form but some area just fell in. The bottom part of the design was well made I think but the pink fabric got sloppy. If I were to do this again I would have made it all one color and make sure the cuts were a lot nicer. I would change other things about it but if I were to say the most critized part I can first of see would be the pink fabric.

I like these art pieces because they mostly have simple form but play with the surface with earthed colors or texture. Some peieces also have added forms from the ones already made making it more interesting.Building Process:Final Piece:This piece took a long time. I learned so much like how to work big in 3-D, how to attach many flowers with only a small hole. I wish I could have been cleaner around the edge of the pink going underneath. The piece was also supposed to have legs but the legs did not go well. They made the outfit look not as strong. Both of them separately looked good. I know now that I can work big but I need to really think through the weight and form being built before doing it. I think this piece is very creative and amazing by itself. I had experimented with so many things. I messed with paper clay for the first time, ribbon and fabric in an even larger scale. I also experimented with pulling up glaze to make the flowers sort of have a ombré effect. I also did it to make sure I was playing with the surface of the clay so I wasn’t just doing something simple. The piece taught me that when working so big I should make sure to right out a schedule and stick to it.
